English Development Program at SMA Mitra Inalum

Improvement of student’s knowledge in field of language is deemed necessary to be improved in nowadays competitiveness and technology development era.

Through Community Development Program in education aspect, PT. Inalum conducted English development course at SMA Mitra Inalum well – known as English Development Program.

This program was started on Monday ( 3 / 10 ) at the school’s hall. Moranta Simanjuntak ( Manager of Public Relation Section ) attended on this opening ceremony on behalf of PT. Inalum, Head Master of SMA Mitra Inalum, Head of Education Service of Batu Bara Regency representated by Ainun Syahri, and Syaifuddin Harahap on behalft on Yayasan Mitra Inalum.

Moranta Simanjuntak said on his speech that “ Community development program in education aspect as the company’s attention and efforts in order to establish the smart of youth generation especially in English. He emphasized that this program will motivate and stipulate the other students to be fluent in English.

The same expression also conveyed by the head master of SMA Mitra Inalum Muhammad Nuh, “ I really appreciate and expect to all the students who participated in this course to motivate other students to be interested in English. We also very grateful to PT. Inalum for the commencement of this program.

English development program was conducted based on cooperation among PT. Inalum, Yayasan Mitra Inalum and CASEL – Medan English course led by Rocky Firmansyah as one of English tutorial in Medan and having a partnership with HRD PT. Inalum in teaching and improving the English skill of employees.

This English development course will be conducted for 1 ( one ) year, consist of : English camp ( 3 – 8 October 2011 ) followed by various activities and monthly evaluation of this program up to September 2012.

INALUM Donated Food Materials for Asahan Flood Victim

On Monday (25/2) Inalum donated food materials to the flood victims in Simpang Empat and Sei Dua Hulu Village, in the Regency of Asahan which became one of the area getting a direct effect from the uprising of Asahan river, due to the heavy rainfall that happened lately. Areas that getting hit by the flood consist of 15 hamlets in Sei Dua Hulu Village with the victims reached 1.374 families, and 4 hamlets in Simpang Empat Village which caused 455 families lose their home.

Free Dental Treatment and Medical Check - Up

In relation to the company’s 37th Anniversary, PT Inalum shows its concern for the surrounding communities especially the people in Kuala Tanjung, Kuala Indah and Lalang Village through the execution of Free Dental Treatment and Check-up Program. This social activity was one of PT Inalum’s annual corporate social responsibility plan in healthcare and targeted to help the poor living around the company’s location.

37th INALUM Anniversary Golf Tournament : Every Contestants Took a Prize Home

Tee off by Ir.H.Nasril Kamaruddin, MBA (Director of Inalum’s General and Human Resources Division) in Inalum Golf Course Hole 1 indicated the beginning of 37th Inalum Anniversary Golf Tournament that was held on January 20, 2013 at Tanjung Gading. The tee off was then followed by Team 1’s contestants; Mayjen TNI Lodewijck Paulus (Pangdam I Bukit Barisan), H.Harmon Yunaz (Director of Inalum’s Production Division), Iwan Ariawan from BNI46 and Irzan T.

INALUM 37th Anniversary Reception : Between Transition Period, Continuity of Operation, and Social Concern

On January 16, 2013, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium or commonly known as PT Inalum carried out it’s 37th anniversary reception that was held in Tanjung Gading Recreation Hall, Region of Batubara. The event that was executed in a polite manner with a casual meet and greet concept started on 7:15PM local time and attended by PT Inalum’s board of directors and management.
