Newsflash Scholarship
As attention of PT Inalum in education program for communities at surrounding area, On January 14, 2010 at Tg. Gading, the company gave scholarships for 10 students (S-1 degree) who have good achievement and disadvantaged in 10 villages around the company.
The program was implemented in coordination with Education Department of Batu Bara regency and chief of villages. This scholarship is valid for one year and the students who receive scholarships will be re-evaluated to get a scholarship next year. Furthermore, on February 22, 2010 the Company donated laboratory equipments to 7 (seven) junior high schools at 7 districts at Batu Bara regency, encyclopedia books for 7 (seven) high schools, 100 hand bags for school teachers, 1500 notebook for the pupils and provide reading books for 42 village libraries.
