For a smooth operation, the company also constructs supporting facilities in both Power Plant and Smelting Plant. PT Inalum constructs a port with 3 berths, one of them has been transferred to the Government of Indonesia in 1984 for public use, and access road. A housing complex for its employee is spread along 200 ha for those who work at Smelting Plant, and 80 ha for Power Plant. Besides that, the company also builds mosques, churches, sport hall, hospital, supermarket, sport facilities, post office, telecommunication, and many others that the employees can enjoy their lives.
